Civil Engineering Department honors its new civil engineers
Ilagan City, Philippines – A palpable sense of pride and triumph resonated throughout Isabela State University – Ilagan Campus as its Civil Engineering Department held its 2025 Testimonial Program on December 10, 2025 in recognition of its graduates who successfully conquered the rigorous April 2025 and November 2025 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE).
17 new civil engineers from April 2025 CELE and 52 new civil engineers from November 2025 CELE were given tribute in the ceremony. Moreover, the program was a collective expression of gratitude and celebration for the culmination of years of intense study, perseverance, and unwavering dedication that shaped an atmosphere charged with the joy of shared achievement, thus, marking a significant milestone for both the passers and the institution that nurtured them.
The event was graced by distinguished university leaders who underscored the importance of this accomplishment. Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer, delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing the core values of excellence, perseverance, and unwavering dedication that define not only a successful examinee but a future-ready engineer. Dr. Crestian A. Agustin, Dean of the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology, alongside the dedicated faculty members of the Civil Engineering Department, were also present, receiving well-deserved recognition for their pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the students throughout their academic journey.
“The success of our new engineers is a direct reflection of our collective commitment to the highest standards of engineering education,” stated Dr. Agustin. “Today, we do not just celebrate a passing rate; we celebrate the transformation of our students into competent, ethical professionals ready to build the future”, he added.
