The Bachelor of Science in Psychology successfully held its 4th Pinning Ceremony today, June 5, 2026, at the Isabela Provincial Capitol Amphitheater, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its students.

With the theme, โ€œPunla ng Kamalayan: Pag-Usbong ng Diwa ng Kapwa sa Pagsulong ng Sikolohiyang Pilipino,โ€ the ceremony celebrated the studentsโ€™ growth in understanding human behavior, mental processes, and the values of empathy and social responsibility anchored in the principles of Sikolohiyang Pilipino.

Gracing the occasion was Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer of ISU-Ilagan, together with Dr. Freddie O. Orperia, Dean of the College of Education. Also present were the faculty and staff of the BS Psychology Department, whose unwavering commitment continues to guide and inspire future psychology professionals.

The event was further enriched by the inspiring message of the Guest Speaker, Ms. Celene Heloise Cortez Miguel, RPsy, who shared valuable insights and words of encouragement to the students as they continue their journey toward becoming competent and compassionate psychology professionals.

The pinning ceremony symbolizes the studentsโ€™ readiness to embrace greater responsibilities in their field, serving as a reminder of their dedication to promoting mental health, understanding human experiences, and contributing to the advancement of psychology in the country.
