The Isabela State University โ City of Ilagan Campus successfully conducted its 2026 Campus General Orientation today, July 22, 2026, at the Campus Gymnasium, warmly welcoming freshmen, transferees, and returning students as they officially begin the First Semester of the Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The orientation served as an avenue to familiarize students with the university’s academic policies, student services, campus regulations, and the various programs that support their academic and personal development throughout their stay at the university.
During the program, Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer, warmly welcomed the freshmen and transferees to the ISU-City of Ilagan family. He encouraged the students to embrace every opportunity to learn, persevere through challenges, and strive for excellence. He reminded them that the university is more than just a place of learningโit is a second home where they will grow intellectually, develop meaningful relationships, and prepare themselves to become competent professionals and responsible citizens.
The orientation also featured the presentation of the University and Campus Officials, introducing the administrators who lead the institution in delivering quality education and student-centered services. This provided students with the opportunity to become acquainted with the university leaders who are committed to supporting their academic journey.
Representatives from the different university and campus offices likewise presented the services and programs available to students. These included discussions on academic affairs, admissions and registration, library services, guidance and counseling, health services, scholarship and financial assistance, student affairs and services, campus security, information and communication technology, research and extension, and other essential offices that contribute to a safe, productive, and student-friendly learning environment.
The Campus General Orientation concluded with a renewed sense of excitement and purpose among the students as they begin another chapter of their academic journey. Through this activity, the university reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing well-rounded, globally competitive graduates equipped with knowledge, skills, values, and a passion for service.
