The Isabela State University (ISU) and Cagayan State University (CSU) formally strengthened their commitment to academic excellence, research, and institutional collaboration through the Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held today, August 3, 2026.
Messages of support and commitment were shared by Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer of ISU-City of Ilagan Campus, representing ISU President Dr. Boyet L. Batang, and Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, ASEAN Engr., OIC University President of CSU duly represented by Dr. Audey Quebral, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension. Their messages highlighted the significance of inter-university partnerships in fostering innovation, research, graduate education, and academic development.
A key highlight of the program was the Presentation of the MOA Highlights, presented by Prof. Julius T. Capili, PhD, University Dean for the Graduate School of Cagayan State University. The presentation provided an overview of the agreement’s objectives, scope, and expected benefits for both institutions.
The ceremony culminated in the official signing of the Memorandum of Agreement by the officials of Isabela State University and Cagayan State University, symbolizing a shared commitment to collaborative programs and future academic endeavors. A photo opportunity followed to commemorate this milestone partnership.
