This event supports new students by introducing them to ISU’s resources, academic programs, and vibrant campus life.
Spanning several days, the caravan will feature sessions for each college, complete with presentations, campus tours, and activities to help new students feel at home. The PANAGTARABAY 2024 were scheduled as follows:
August 13 – Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
August 22 – Civil Engineering (CE)
August 27 – Electrical Engineering (EE)
August 28 – Industrial Technology (IndTech)
August 29 – Architecture
College Dean of CEAT, Engr, Crestian A. Agustin, highlighted PANAGTARABAY as a welcoming tradition, adding, “This orientation helps first-year students and transferees start their journey with a sense of belonging and support.” Each session will cover academic policies, scholarships, student organizations, and guidance services, with upperclassmen offering advice for a successful college experience.
The event will also feature interactive activities, games, and team-building opportunities to encourage bonding among students. “Our goal is to give first-year students and transferees a taste of what makes ISU Ilagan special,” said Angela Dela Cruz, a student organizer.
PANAGTARABAY 2024 demonstrates ISU Ilagan’s commitment to student success and community, ensuring each new student has the foundation they need to excel academically and socially. The ISU community warmly welcomes all first-year students and transferees, anticipating an inspiring academic year.
