Isabela State University- Ilagan Campus Celebrates National Women’s Month with Inspiring Resource Speaker Dr. Drolly Claravall
In a vibrant celebration of National Women’s Month, the Isabela State University (ISU), City of Ilagan Campus, community came together on March 26, 2024, to honor the contributions and achievements of women. The highlight of the event was a powerful keynote address delivered by Dr. Drolly Claravall, a prominent advocate for gender equity and women’s right. Performances and competitions among students also highlighted the celebration.
The event hosted by the ISU Planning Office, drew a diverse crowd of students and faculty, and staff eager to engage in discussions about women’s empowerment. Dr. Claravall, renowned for her work in sports, education, captivated the audience with her insights on the importance of representation and the ongoing struggles women face in various sectors. The event also featured art displays and exhibit of famous women in the profession of engineering, architecture, education, nursing, midwifery and technology at the lobby of the new College of Engineering Architecture and Technology Building. ISU’s commitment to promoting gender equity was evident throughout the celebration, with various departments and organizations showcasing their initiatives to support women on campus and beyond.
