ISU City of Ilagan Campus Conducts Internal Quality Audit for ISO 9001:2015 Compliance



The Isabela State University (ISU) City of Ilagan Campus is conducting its Internal Quality Audit (IQA) on September 9–10, 2026, as part of the University’s continuing efforts to ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
The two-day audit covers the various offices and processes of the campus, with concerned Process Owners participating in the assessment of their respective operations. The activity aims to determine the conformity and effectiveness of established processes, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen the campus’ quality management system.
Prior to the start of the office-to-office audit, the audit team paid a courtesy visit to Cluster Executive Officer Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, PhD, as part of the initial activities of the assessment.
The audit is being conducted under the supervision of Director for Quality Assurance Engr. Arnold Sotero Alburo, with Dr. Zach Chamberlaine M. Corpuz serving as Team Leader.
The audit team is composed of Assoc. Prof. Joey Natividad, Asst. Prof. David Pascua Jr., Asst. Prof. Dominick Agoot, Asst. Prof. Precious Ramos, Inst. Kerubin Jan Lamorena, Inst. Eleanor Atienza, Inst. Blesie Joy Laguna, Inst. Jonalyn Francisco, Inst. Frances Valdez, Inst. Pia Calizo, and Ms. Sheree Joy Narag.
The Exit Conference is scheduled for September 10, 2026, where the audit team is expected to present the results, observations, and areas for improvement identified during the two-day assessment.
The conduct of the Internal Quality Audit underscores ISU City of Ilagan Campus’ commitment to continuous improvement, process effectiveness, and the sustained implementation of its quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
