The Isabela State University – City of Ilagan Campus (ISU-I) on October 8 hosted a parade and testimonial and fruition program for the recent passers of three significant licensure examinations: the August 2024 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam (REELE), the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination (RMELE), and the Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians (BLEPP).

The event took place at the New College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) AVR building and commenced with a parade celebrating the achievements of the graduates. The program started with a welcome address from Engr. Freddie O. Operia, dean of College of Education (CeD), where he expressed heartfelt congratulations to the passers, their families, and the faculty members present.

On the other hand, CEAT Dean Engr. Crestian Agustin emphasized the importance of gratitude in his message. According to Agustin, the achievements of the alumni in passing the recent board exams are testaments that ISU is on the right path. “Because of your achievement, your success in passing the board exam that speaks the volume of what ISU can do and we are very much thankful for that because that already proves that ISU is the right path. Once again, my dear colleagues, because we can be colleagues in the future. Thank you for raising the banner of ISU,” Agustin said.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, Engr. Alfonso R. Simon, executive officer of ISU-Ilagan, delivered a congratulatory message on behalf of the entire ISU-Ilagan Campus. On his message, Simon thanked the passers for the sustained excellence in examinations like the REELE, RMELE and BLEPP. “Thank you for continuing our proud tradition of excellence, especially in these board examinations. May you use the knowledge bestowed upon you to excel as registered electrical engineers, master electricians, and psychometricians.,” Simon said.

One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of certificates to all the passers, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys. ISU-Ilagan Campus looks forward to the bright futures of its graduates, confident that they will carry the values and knowledge gained at ISU into their professional lives.
