ISU-Ilagan Launches Community Outreach Services During 48th Founding Anniversary Celebration


As part of the celebration of its 48th Founding Anniversary, Isabela State University–Ilagan Campus conducted DALOY: Serbisyo Para sa Komunidad today, June 9, 2026, at Barangay Rang-ayan, City of Ilagan. The activity brought together university officials, extension workers, and community members in delivering various free services and outreach programs aimed at promoting community welfare and development.
The opening program featured messages from Hon. Aldrich T. Tindugan, Barangay Captain of Rang-ayan; Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer of ISU-Ilagan; and Prof. Precious Joy L. Ramos, DPPE, Director for Extension and Training Services, who emphasized the university’s commitment to responsive and people-centered extension services.
Following the presentation of services and mechanics by Prof. Ryan M. Amigo, Extension Coordinator of the College of Nursing, a ribbon-cutting ceremony formally opened the service areas, paving the way for the simultaneous delivery of free services to community beneficiaries.
The activity concluded with words of gratitude and appreciation to the residents and local officials of Barangay Rang-ayan for their active participation and support. The successful conduct of the program strengthened the partnership between ISU-Ilagan and the community, reflecting the true spirit of DALOY—bringing meaningful service, fostering collaboration, and creating a lasting positive impact on the lives of the people.
