In preparation for adopting the new CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 13 series of 2023, which introduces an updated Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BINDTECH) curriculum, the BS Industrial Technology Department at Isabela State University – Ilagan Campus hosted a one-day curriculum workshop on July 10, 2024. This initiative aimed to develop a unified curriculum that will be implemented across all ISU campuses offering the BINDTECH program.

The workshop gathered faculty members from various campuses within the ISU system, all of whom teach in the BS Industrial Technology program. The event commenced with an opening program led by the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology, after which participants engaged in group sessions to draft a synchronized curriculum based on the new CMO guidelines.

Prof. Jomel Angangan, Program Chairperson of BSINDTECH at the Ilagan campus, emphasized the importance of a follow-up workshop to further align course syllabi across campuses, ensuring a standardized and cohesive curriculum for the Industrial Technology program.
