Look: ISU-Ilagan Hits 100% Mark in 2020 Architect Licensure Exam
In what can be considered this year an early feat for the Campus, six of its graduates of the BS Architecture Program hurdled successfully the 2020 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE).
The ALE result released by Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) first week of February showed that all the six examinees from the campus passed.
New architects produced by ISU-Ilagan were Jamaica Mae A. Angel, Francis Carlo C. Cantor, Tiffany T.Semana, Joana Catchan, Hannah Grace C. Dizon and Mary Ann Pamittan.
According to Arch. Bagnos Quebral, Chair of the Architecture Program of ISU-Ilagan, some factors that could have contributed to the great success of the Architecture graduates in licensure exam, not only this year but also in previous years where the campus consistently achieved one hundred passing mark, have been their strict monitoring of students during their academic years and the faculty’s unparalled commitment and devotion to teaching.
Architect Quebral stressed that during the internship of their graduates and in the duration of their review, he together with other faculty of the program also conduct close monitoring to ensure the graduates’ great chance of hurdling the board exam.
“Our technique proves effective because since 2013 we have made a perfect record of one hundred passing percentage in the ALE,” Quebral added.
Records show the campus turned in passers with perfect passing marks in the architect board exams of January 2013, September 2015, January 2018, and January 2020.
“Our school’s performance in ALE is truly exceptional since the board exam in Architecture is one of the toughest in the country,” Quebral concluded.
