Isabela State University โ€“ Ilagan Campus formally receives a Research Grant Turnover and Project Inception Ceremony for the research project titled, โ€œEvaluation of the National Immunization Program Implementation in Cagayan Valley, Philippines: Basis for Population Estimates Projection and Strengthening System Readiness.โ€ The grant was awarded to Dr. Jolo Galabay, Campus Director for PRELIA and Project Leader, by the Department of Health and the Department of Science and Technology through the Cagayan Valley Health Research Consortium.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer of ISUโ€“Ilagan Campus, together with other campus officials, reflecting the university administrationโ€™s continued commitment to strengthening research and extension initiatives geared toward community development and public health advancement.

The activity marked the official commencement of the externally funded study and underscored the universityโ€™s dedication to collaborative, community-responsive, and evidence-based research initiatives that address pressing public health concerns in the region.
